Well, the Brits, in cooperation with the US, have scored a major victory for the War on Islamic Radicals. While it's nothing to dance in the streets over for sure, it's definitely an accomplishment. Victories like this are why there have been no more attacks in the US since we were attacked on September 11th, 2001.But of course, nothing good can happen without it being Bush's fault somehow.

Bottom line: Joe Lieberbush lost. The message is spreading across the land that incumbents who embrace the president are in serious trouble. And the Republicans needed to divert attention, to stop this meme in its tracks, and lo' and behold we have our first terror alert that I can recall since the last election, and it's our first ever Red Alert! What a coincidence!

Some day soon, people will wake up and realize the danger we are facing. I just hope it doesn't take us failing to defend them to do it.
